This very imaginative drawing by Benjamin C. Boulter was taken from a copy of the S. Silas Bi-Monthly Paper dated Nov-Dec 1923.
This drawing shows four saints represented at the foot of the crib. From left to right - St Francis for his heart was pure, St Thomas Friend of Church and poor, St George Defender of our Race, St Silas Patron of this Place.
The words above the angels "Say who are these worshipping Jesus our new-born Lord & King"
The answer on the stable roof "St Joseph Guardian of the Child, St Mary Mother Undefiled"
Prayer below the saints "Lord Jesu grant us thy love to sing with them in heaven above"
